Regarding Architectural Violation Letters
Posted on Oct 23rd, 2019 Comments (0)
Dear Amberwood owners,
You might have received an architectural violation letter last week.
Please note that the Board has decided that because the letters were sent without Board and/or ARC (Architectural Review Committee) approval, we won’t be enforcing them. We will conduct a new set of inspections in the future and we’ll send any warranted violation letters following those inspections.
While we won't be enforcing at the moment, now's a great time to get a head-start on improving the exterior appearance of your home, which can help increase property values in the entire neighborhood. Actions as simple as pulling weeds and picking up trash around your home's exterior can go a long way towards improving the look of our homes.
Thanks so much!

Additionally, the open trash bin was sprayed with insecticide for a green fly infestation. These treatments should last for the next 10 to 12 months.
Conner’s has been in business in Northern Virginia since 1944. They service commercial, multi-family and residential properties.
Howdy Neighbors,
On Wednesday morning, Conner’s Termite & Pest Control treated each opening along the upper pipe of the fence surrounding the Tot Lot. Wasps nests were found in every opening which were sprayed with insecticide and packed with copper wire mesh. Please do not remove the copper mesh. Please also ensure your children do not remove the copper mesh.

Wasp Nest Near Tot Lot - Use Caution

Additionally, there are a number of bees and green flies making a home in the green open trash bin. Please do not deposit household trash in the community trash bin.
Hello Amberwood,
A wasp nest was discovered in the fencing at the Tot Lot Sunday afternoon. On Sunday night a swarm of wasps and bees extended from the edge of the playground area down Wall Street towards Dawson Street.
Additionally, there are a number of bees and green flies making a home in the green open trash bin. Please do not deposit household trash in the community trash bin.
Today we contacted four pest companies. We hope to eradicate the nest(s) in the next few days.
Please use caution around that area. More details to follow.
Thank you for your patience!

Trash Delays
Posted on Apr 6th, 2019
The Amberwood BODs have been in contact with American Disposal regarding the recent delays in trash and recycling service. They have indicated that an industry shortage in labor force is the cause for delays. Residents and homeowners who have issues with service providers should contact the management company and/or the Board to report problems and address concerns. Please see the notice from American Disposal Services
